This is an opportunity for an innovative Supply Chain & Strategic Sourcingleader to creatively apply their best skills, experiences and lessons-learned in building an effective and high performance Supply Chain within the context of this exciting company. This supply chain and strategic sourcing person reports into Operations and is responsible for developing, executing and leading all purchasing and supply chain processes and activities. This includes responsibility for strategic supply chain agreements, purchasing processes and workflows in our ERP, supply chain scorecards and key performance indicators. This role buys all supplies, assets, products and services for the company and develops/executes strategic supply agreements for consumable materials and components with our global partners and local contract manufacturers. Responsibilities include purchasing and quote database development for engineering, operations and customer service, allowing critical make-vs-buy and sourcing decisions at the strategic level.

Responsibilities

· Drive high performance purchasing functions within company policies and procedures, while building trust and efficiencieswith internal customers and supply chain.

· Ensure that quality partsarrive from our suppliers in a timely manner and as promised.

· Strategic sourcing agreements of varying complexity, including sole source and exclusive sourcing where continuity of supply is critical. Our supply agreements drive favorable pricing and stock-on-hand inventory agreements for cost-effective supply and point-of-use distribution (includes materials and software licenses).

· Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with our suppliers and outsource partners (module suppliers, consumable materials and parts suppliers).

· Proactive reduction of overall supply leadtimes, thereby improving overall materials/manufacturing velocities and cash-flow management.

· Support materials commercialization processes with Evolve’s MP&I team in Rochester, NY, optimizing multi-tier supply chains critical to cost and supply.

· Purchases for R&D and engineering, as well as fostering co-operation with our suppliers and Evolve’s design teams. Execute BOM releases and changes with suppliers accordingly.

· Create/Maintain/Update purchasing procedure(s) and/or processes scaled to the company’s needs, compliant to applicable regulatory requirements (REACH, ROHS, UL, CE).

· Develop Supplier Selection practices to identify the best available supply regarding cost, quality, delivery and service with an effective quote management and scorecard database, ultimately providing an internal Approved Vendors List (AVL).

· Support and develop make-buy decision criteria and strategies to managing and mitigate risk with our sole-source and most critical suppliers.

· Manage MRB processes and the financially-credited return of rejected materials to suppliers; issue/manage RMA’s for materials returning from the field.

· Monitor and communicate orders, back-orders and delivery statuses while leading part shortage and leadtime gap reductions, emphasizing Supply Chain collaboration.

· Assist development and management of our Oracle Netsuite ERP system to streamline material and dataflows, manage transaction integrity and reports for business decisions.

· Support S&OP processesand sales forecasts by balancing and driving supplier delivery schedules and agreements with supply time-fences and leadtimes.

· Support anticipated customer ship dates based on refreshed Supply Chain Leadtimes.

· Support Customer Service by ensuring adequate “customer down” parts and spares are purchased to Evolve’s customer sites, in parts depots (US and Europe), and Evolve offices.

· Proactively identify pending or current parts shortages and aggressively solution them.

· Manage external service suppliers and their efficiencies for on-time completion.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

· Minimum 5 years Procurement, Purchasing and supply chain experience

· Experience selecting, implementing and supporting ERP systems/reports. Ideally includes process mapping for a modern and scalable system.

· Experience in machine shop, additive manufacturing or capital equipment manufacturing desired.

· Business agreement familiarity and ability to develop and execute strategic supply agreements and relationships.

· Excellent communication, relationship building, teamwork and time management skills.

· Strong computer skills, and high level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS word processing, spreadsheet, database and ERP applications.

· APICS and/or SCM certifications or equivalent understanding and experience.
