Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Supply Chain Contractor Facilities Operations and Management team in Chantilly, VA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees and managers from multiple Supply Chain and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the execution of contract scope of work for supply chain operations and procurement activities of goods and services in support of operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and commodity management and processes and increasing supplier diversity
  • Develop and execute organizational, business and technical strategies, goals, objectives and related metrics to ensure alignment with company vision/strategy
  • Establish partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
  • Builds strategic partnerships with suppliers and/or organizations to advance Boeing's position
  • Build organizational culture that values open and honest communication
  • Ensure organization-wide implementation of process improvement methodologies (e.g., LEAN, Capability Maturity Models)
  • Work with other senior leaders to streamline processes across organizational and functional boundaries
  • Meet cost savings/affordability targets
  • Measures progress to plan
  • Participates in negotiations as necessary

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience managing projects/teams/program elements of similar size and complexity
  • Experience providing high quality customer service
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement work and/or general Business Operations
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with business strategy execution plans.
  • Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g. LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
  • Experience building and sustaining high performing teams
  • Demonstrated experience with warehousing and logistics functions
  • Familiarity with 24/7 operational environments
  • SAP experience preferred
