- Technically and administratively supervises and manages civilian flight element supervisors in the grade of WS-11/-13 and NH-II as they direct, manage and supervise civilian subordinate personnel in the grades ofWG-8, WG-10, WG-11, WL-10/-11, and NJ-Ill.
- Responsible le for the technical and administrative supervision and management of various elements within the Munitions Flight to include Munitions Inspection, Storage and Handling and Accountability when filling the MASO/Materiel Superintendent position, Conventional Maintenance and Precision Guided Munitions Maintenance when filling the Production Superintendent position, or Control, Training and Plans & Programs when filling the Systems Superintendent position.
- Performs work planning responsibilities. Plans on a weekly-quarterly basis, the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities and materials in support of all munitions tasks.

- This position MAY be eligible for a recruitment/relocation incentive. Specifics will be discussed with the Selecting Official
- This position is Situational Telework Eligible (must reside in the local area) for UP TO a maximum of 80% of the time.
- Amount of telework time and telework schedule will be at the discretion of the Selecting Official and implemented after entrance on duty.
- 2 years of Munitions Operations experience desired; 2 years Munitions Inspection experience desired
- In depth knowledge of munitions stockpile management.
- In depth knowledge munitions assembly, maintenance and storage policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Air Force Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System and Tactical Missile Records System
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located HERE
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 in the Federal Service. You must have at least one year specialized experience which includes the knowledge of both military and civilian personnel policies and procedures, military and civilian budgetary, customer support, security and manpower programs/documents, and skill in directing/controlling all facets of operations relating to precision-guided munitions, conventional maintenance, Inspection, storage and handling and line delivery.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
I. In depth knowledge of munitions stockpile management.
2. In depth knowledge munitions assembly, maintenance and storage policies and procedures.
3. Knowledge of both military and civilian personnel policies and procedures.
4. Knowledge of Air Force Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System, Tactical Missile Records System and Munitions Control-2000.
5. Skill in written and oral communication.
6. Ability to interpret and apply applicable Air Force Instructions and Manuals.
7. Ability to modify standard practices.
8. Knowledge of military and civilian budgetary, customer support, security and manpower programs/documents.
9. Skill in directing/controlling all facets of operations relating to precision-guided munitions, conventional maintenance, Inspection, storage and handling and line delivery.
Additional information
