The Austintown Local Board of Education anticipates offering a multiyear contract. The salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
REQUIRED CRITERIA
- Master’s degree or higher with a major in educational administration and supervision
- Minimum of ten years of public school experience in administration and supervision
- A valid superintendent’s certificate/license as prescribed by the State of Ohio
- Experience and proficiency with computer applications, including the Google suite, Microsoft Office, Spreadsheet, and database programs
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Abilities to promote positive internal and external customer relations
- Alternatives to the above as approved by the Board of Education

The successful applicant must have the following on file before they can begin work:
- Copy of appropriate and valid Ohio Superintendent's License
- Current favorable State (BCII) and Federal (FBI) background checks
- Official Sealed Transcripts
- Negative drug screen result
Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The successful candidate must complete any Vector/Safe Schools courses as assigned.
