Overview:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transports soldiers to various Fort Bliss/El Paso Texas locations and facilities.
- Keep vehicle log in accordance with policy and procedures of the Mobilization and Deployment.
- Operator will perform preventative maintenance check list before and after operation of vehicle.
- Transportation services for individuals and or groups, up to and including unit level.
- Must be able to operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service and all pick up/drop offs.

- Other duties as assigned/approved by Tatitlek management.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Acceptable driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Multi-task oriented
- Must have an acceptable driving record (7 year)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (i.e., customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction).
- Must have proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid U.S. state issued driver’s license.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be familiar with Ft. Bliss and surrounding off post medical facilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain post driving privileges.
Work Environment:
Duties are performed operating a motor vehicle. Noise level is typically moderate. Field conditions prevail; Area is subject to blowing dust and sand with temperatures ranging from 10 (-) degrees F in the winter to 125 (+) degrees F in the summer. Routinely work 10 (+) hours per day.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and move up to 50 pounds as needed. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone and radio. Essential and marginal functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for: bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time and the manual dexterity to operate a cell phone, handheld radio, telephone and keyboard.
Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
In accordance with Executive Order 14042, a candidate for this position may be required to provide proof of vaccination status for COVID-19 and will be subject to the provisions and/or exceptions of EO 14042 and applicable law.
