- Assist the department head and graduate faculty by attending designated meetings, preparing correspondence memos, reports, and meeting minutes, and coordinating meeting schedules.
- Perform office duties, including answering phones, directing calls to appropriate parties, data entry, filing, appointment scheduling, maintaining email lists, sending group emails, sorting and distributing mail, and other general duties as assigned.
- Schedule meetings as requested (in-person, tele-conference, video-conference).
- Coordinate scheduling and details for all department events (e.g., retreats, Honors program, Holiday party, faculty meetings).
- Arrange maintenance of office equipment.
- Manage systems for tracking OPTT student inquiries, applications, and student assessments.
- Collaborate with the SPED undergraduate Student Teaching Coordinator to organize student teaching (ST) placements, ST workshop, ST assignments, and collation of all ST paperwork.
- Collaborate with the SPED practicum coordinator to download practicum observations each semester.
- Other general coordination support with undergraduate student teaching coordinator and undergraduate advisor.
- Coordinate with faculty and staff for processing purchasing transactions as appropriate.
- Manage purchasing cards including collecting receipts, reviewing for policy, and attaching in the p-card system.
- Coordinate with purchasing on bids, request for quotes, moving expenses, etc.
- Prepare departmental deposits.
- Manage workroom and order supplies as needed.
- Prepare key requests and manage key report.
- Manage department inventory of computer/technological equipment.

- Skilled with computers and related software.
- Skilled with basic office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telephone systems.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business data and personal information.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills.
