Job Description:
The Software Design Verification (SDV) department of L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Software Test Engineer interested in qualifying a diverse range of L3Harris Application Software products, supporting L3Harris military and first-responder radios and their use in deployed networking scenarios. L3Harris Applications support a wide range of capabilities, including Battlefield Management, Deployment/Operational Planning, Radio Configuration/Programming, Key Management, Frequency Analysis, Geospatial Planning/Mapping, Tactical Messaging, Tactical Email and Network Monitoring.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Authoring manual and automated test plans, using automation frameworks such as Ranorex or Selenium
- Experience in testing to formal regulations (FDA or CMMI)
- Documenting failures clearly and precisely
- Assisting developers in defect replication
- Creation/maintenance of software release configuration management documents in a team-oriented environment
- Support applications team initiatives to streamline the test processes with the use of automation and changes based on lessons learned
- Assist applications team’s lab infrastructure improvements to increase capacity for testing.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
