    Job Summary

    McKesson is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly/quarterly/annual variance analysis and identify action plans to optimize performance and mitigate risk
  • Prepare executive level summaries and presentations in order to explain financial performance and key drivers across the Regional Business Offices.
  • Responsible for monthly forecasting activities
  • Develop the annual budget and long-term plan for selected departments
  • Model generation and reporting of key business drivers for annual and strategic planning
  • Perform close responsibilities as needed, including reconciliations, journal entries, and other functions as needed.
  • Understand PSFT and SAP GL structure, Reporting, and key processes within Practice Management Systems.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analytics
  • Perform other Practice Management duties as requested

  • Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of finance, accounting, finance analytics or similar experiences

  • Critical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills (daily use of vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, if statements, data tables) required
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Strong experience in creating or manipulating financial models and analyzing large amounts of data
  • Knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements, forecast, month end close, budgets, variance analysis, etc.
  • Proficient with presentation tools (i.e. MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff up to executive management
  • Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Healthcare experience
  • Essbase experience
  • TM1 experience

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

  • Salary: 78,300.00 - 104,400.00 - 130,500.00 USD Annual (95K Target)

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$78,300 - $130,500
