Within Operations Division this position is responsible for the development of analytical insights for all departments. Responsible for mentoring other Data Analysts. Serves as a lead liaison to Operations Division for analytical support and is a super user of analytic solutions. Requires expert level knowledge of enterprise accepted reporting, data and systems.
SKILLS
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Mentor for other Data Analysts that deliver analysis and insights in order to support Operations business functions and initiatives.
  • Responsible for analytic request intake, prioritization and tracking.
  • Develops reports, data files and dashboards based on request requirements through direct interaction with operations departments.
  • Conducts research and analysis to provide insights and results back to operations departments and senior management.
  • Expert level knowledge of enterprise accepted analytical and data sources in order to satisfy business requests and maximize efficiency.
  • Create new insightful metrics to help Operations Division track and analyze data.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics or a related discipline. Masters degree preferred.
  • Requires six plus years of experience in Data Analytics or Data Management role (internally or at another company). Prefer experience in healthcare.
  • Strong analytical skillset, including advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including PowerPivot and/or PowerQuery, and intermediate SQL.
  • Prefer experience managing staff
Work-at-home requirements
  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
The annual base salary range for this position is $83,300 - $116,700 USD.
