Duties

We are looking for a Business Solutions Specialist / Sr. Specialist to join our team!

Summary -

Analyzes company operations, organization, and systems in order to recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and support growth. Drives design and delivery of strategic, transformative changes.

A typical day will include the following:

  • Work on a dynamic mix of projects helping to implement digital solutions to optimize insurance operations

  • Collaborate with business leaders to deliver projects that enhance business capability and efficiency

  • Articulate and document business requirements for complex insurance systems

  • Conceptualize effective automated solutions for business problems and opportunities

  • Advocate on topics of critical differentiation for PHLY and contribute to decisions about implementation strategies or tradeoffs

  • Design and execute business acceptance test plans

  • Create business cases for projects and measure realization of benefits

  • Lead business activities for transformation projects following generally accepted SDLC methodologies

  • Counsel and mentor associates by providing on-the-job feedback

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Accounting/Finance, Communications, Data Science, or related field

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in translating business requirements and end user needs into design solutions as part of a business analysis, advisory/consulting, or equivalent practice

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience refining target operating models or modernizing systems, processes, and products

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical capabilities in order to liaise with both business and IT stakeholders

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience leading people for a portion of a new system implementation or modernization

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a flowcharting tool such as Microsoft Visio

  • Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of a business or customer-facing platform such as Duck Creek, Guidewire, Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent

  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry preferred

  • Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience

  • Comfortable working the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST

Salary

Salary:

  • National Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000

  • Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
