JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Practice Management, provides clinical social work services for patients and their families and coordinates care with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Works standard work week, Monday through Friday, but may have to adjust schedule to meet deadlines or in case of emergencies. Works in an office environment. A high degree of independent judgment and initiative are required. The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue. Moderate amount of stress in working with patients and families.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS:
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
Experience: Two (2) years experience as Social Worker and/or Discharge Planner in Psychiatric clinical setting.
Location: Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center ยท 38 EMH Behavioral Health Op Clinic
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st, 8am-4:30pm
