UnitedHealthcare, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of companies, is seeking a Sr. Compliance Analyst to join its dynamic Regulatory Account Management team, supporting our Medicare & Retirement business. Things are exciting at UHG as we are experiencing unprecedented growth, and looking for someone to join our team. The Sr. Compliance Analyst is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting all aspects of the compliance for our business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with regulatory agencies, and have the ability to work under strict regulatory deadlines
  • Lead regulatory inquiries, investigate, and formulate responses with business partners
  • Lead meetings with regulatory agencies and internal business partners
  • Compliance support of business strategies to promote operational accountability and compliance with applicable laws at the state and federal level, company policies, and standards of ethical behavior
  • Business operational experience or the ability to educate yourself on processes within the business in order to have a high level understanding of how laws and regulations impact business areas
  • Support team reporting responsibilities, including data analytics and the ability to identify trends in data
  • Create solid working relationships with LCRA and business partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in understanding of healthcare products and services
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated breadth and depth of knowledge of state health insurance, state HMO, and other state and federal laws impacting the health care/health insurance industry


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Compliance experience in a large organization
  • Experience working or communicating with regulators
  • Project management experience

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
