Overview:
Under the direction of the Controller, the incumbent will assist with the preparation of financial statements, internal and external audits, month-end/year-end closing and the daily performance of the property.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, as well as one (1) to three (3) years of similar accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Exceptional knowledge of hotel and casino operations, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must have excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office and Infinium accounting software.
- Must be able to analyze financial records and interpret for other departments
- Must possess excellent time management skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize work and relate to decision makers across the business.
