Job description

The Senior Accountant position will work within the Finance Department. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day advanced accounting functions including the timely recording of various accounting transactions, preparation of various accounting/audit schedules, and special projects as determined by the needs of the department.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, including processing accounts payable required
• Experience with Office 365 applications (intermediate level experience working with MS Excel) required. Experience includes pivot tables and v-lookups.
• Ability to reconcile various balance sheet accounts required
• Experience working in a cloud-based ERP environment is highly preferred
• Experience working for a non-profit organization or public health sector is preferred
• Experience with grants preferred
• Excellent financial analysis abilities highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail is highly preferred
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete tasks on time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
