The Breakdown:
We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security professional to join our team. In this entry level, temporary (6 months) role, you will play a role in monitoring endpoint security applications, responding to phishing attempts, and contributing to the overall security posture of our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about cyber security and eager to learn in a professional setting.

What You Get to Do:

• Monitor and analyze endpoint security applications to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Respond to phishing attempts and investigate suspicious activities to mitigate risks.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify and address security gaps.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation efforts.
• Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans.
• Generate comprehensive reports and documentation on security incidents, investigations, and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and practices.
• Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to enhance your skills and understanding of cybersecurity.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with endpoint security applications and their functionalities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
