POSITION SUMMARY

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to practice the customer courtesy skills of See.Say.Smile to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. Employee is to maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests, team members and company assets.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:
    • Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine.
    • Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    • Friendly - Use customer courtesy skills of See.Say.Smile to provide superior guest service.
    • Fun – Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.


  • Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.


  • Assist in transporting money, chips, and other assets.
  • Control access to restricted areas.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to customer and team member incidents and accidents.
  • Monitor customer and team member passage in and out of casino.
  • Check for and report safety hazards.
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Missouri Gaming Commission, Casino, and departmental management.
  • Other duties as assigned.


WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer keyboard and telephone.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to read, write, and understands complex instructions and communicate them to subordinates in a way that can be easily interpreted.
  • Ability to complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoke filled casino environment with above average noise levels.
  • Standing, Walking, Bending, Lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Availability to work 24-hours hours a day, 7 days a week, varied work schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state and/or local regulations.
  • Knowledge of internal controls.
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS


  • A high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid MGC Level 2 Gaming license.
  • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
  • Must complete all required company training.
