SUMMARY

SAP Material Master Analyst will manage workflow and respond to requests for additions and changes to the SAP master data within an assigned data area. Responsibilities in the position extend beyond data entry, so the candidate should be prepared to multi-task and contribute to some project related work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, evaluate, create, and maintain master data integrity.
  • Identify and support process improvement efforts within the department, and across the company, aimed at improving efficiencies, service levels, increasing accuracy, and reducing costs associated with maintenance and creation of master data.
  • Support key projects and business processes for creating, changing, and deleting SAP Master Data.
  • Provides training and support for the material master request form.
  • Follow-up and interact heavily with Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Purchasing, Production, and Finance to create and maintain part numbers and master data with the cross-functional teams to gather required information.
  • Enforce established data standards and guidelines.
  • Complete workflow tasks.
  • Responsible for the governance of new products going into the system that do not meet the set business requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Science in Business or related field; 2+ years’ experience in master data administration, or business process analytics or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong demonstrated skills within SAP with advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
