PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a Sandwich and Salad Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving sandwiches, salads, and other made to order food in a quick service restaurant as directed by the Magnolia’s Manager. You will be responsible for prepping ingredients, creating items in accordance with guest preferences, informing staff when orders are ready, and cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and service areas.

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare ingredients and set-up work stations including, but not limited to, chopping and/or peeling vegetables and organizing items.
• Check that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
• Prevent cross-contamination.
• Prepare sandwiches and salads in accordance with members' and guests’ preferences.
• Serve items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards.
• Establish successful and effective communication with other employees.
• Ensure your workstation remains clean, orderly, and sanitary.
• Break down and clean cook stations at the end of shift.
• Follow all relative food health and safety guidelines.
• Reports any quality, waste, or equipment issues to supervisor.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow uniform and personal appearance standards, as well as all employee standards outlined in the employee handbook(s).
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to follow food health and safety guidelines.
• Level-headed with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the production of high-quality outputs.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Capacity to be on your feet for long hours.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, rotate, climb, stand, push, lift, grasp, and reach.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various extreme weather conditions.
• Willingness to work with or around sharp utensils and/or harmful chemicals.
• Flexibility to work shifts over weekends and on holidays, as required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation: Hourly Pay Based on Experience

Benefits: Employees are eligible for benefits as outlined under the employee handbook (subject to completion of specified employment periods and employment status)
