Position Summary
The Marketing Content Coordinator will work in conjunction with the sales and marketing groups of both Scientific Games and the Vermont Lottery to manage our in-store digital sales product called Lottery In Motion, which is a store display monitor that shows digital and flash content promoting lottery games and products. This position will develop creative outbound messaging programs. On a daily basis, this person coordinates with the digital content team to ensure Lottery Agent locations have timely applicable content that appeals to our audience and related to sales and marketing goals. This position is responsible for leading the content strategy to ensure sales growth.
Job Functions:

  • Manage all media flash content displayed through the Lottery In Motion screens.
  • Work with the digital messaging design developers on content and messaging to support marketing and sales programs at the point of sale.
  • Manage the flow of work and approvals between the creative team and lottery marketing management through approval of all designs.
  • Execute effective strategies to bring new content to market, while maintaining and enhancing existing content.
  • Analyze sales trends and research results to create and determine the best strategies to reach our Lottery players and improve game performance.
  • Create and maintain groups within the content system as well as playlists.
  • Initiate traffic driven programs to grow audience size and enhance engagement.
  • Work with Lottery and SG departments to define objectives, projects scope, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Constantly review and recommend optimal digital display content plan for the Lottery and present accordingly.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising from an accredited University or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years developing digital content for an advertising agency or CPG/ Service company; the role should have experience managing communication strategy to achieve sales growth.
  • Experience creating and presenting marketing concepts to customers is a must.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and/or XML is a plus.

  • Must possess the ability to effectively present and communicate ideas both verbally and visually to a large forum.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Strong capacity to analyze sales trends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Communicate and work closely with SGI and Lottery team to deliver high-quality content that meets clear market needs and customer expectations.
  • Ability to review and edit all content.
  • Ability to understand and incorporate best practices in the digital content arena.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, but not limited to, personal computer and telephone
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stretch at minimum 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
