Job Title: Paint Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX 78264

Duration: 12 Months Contract (with a possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $28/hr.

Shift Time: 1st Shift; M-F; (7:45 AM to 4:15 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Online robot programming Sealer, UBC, and Dampening. ("High Viscosity")
• Run trials and adjust parameters.
• Evaluate quality drawings and meet company's standards.
• Online robot Programming Primer, Base and Clear. ("Low Viscosity")
• Offline robot programming.
• Use simulation software to perform reach studies and cycle time analysis.
• Evaluate Quality.
• Utilize Elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite equipment.
• Create Hand Over Documents.
• Create snapshots/templates of the robot/quality processes.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Technical Degree
• 1-2 yearsof relevant years of experience
• Knowledge of Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3 programming software.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
• Experience with Kawasaki, Fanuc, Yasakawa Robots. (Programming and problem troubleshooting).
• Experience with Digital Engineering Software.
• PLC, Logic and troubleshooting.
• Additional related certifications.

Other Details:

• Looking to hire who could be a fresh graduate but should have done some work or participated in working with robots during their academics.
• If you have 1-2 years of relevant years of experience then that’ll be ideal.
• Okay with the candidates having either Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Location: 100% on-site
• Travel: 50% domestically in United States, in Mexico and possibly to Canada.
• Overtime:20%, should be able to work during weekends, holidays and shutdowns
