RN Supervisor - Home Care (20-25 Hrs/Wk) Description Attention RN’s! Looking for a change? Home care offers you flexibility! Rely Health Care is looking for a part time RN Supervisor to join our team in the Capital Region. This is not your typical nursing job. You'll travel to client homes within our service territory, performing staff supervision/on the job training in client homes, and conducting client assessments. (Our service territory is primarily Schenectady and Albany Counties, with a smaller population of clients in Saratoga and Rensselaer Counties.) This is the perfect opportunity for an RN who retired from a hospital or facility system, but still wants to make a difference in their community. Or for an RN looking to work around school schedules. Part time hours offer great flexibility! Job Opening: RN Supervisor Branch Office: Schenectady, NY Status: Part Time - 20 -25+ hours a week, primarily weekday daytime hours, flexible scheduling Per NYS DOH mandate, all home care agency staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID, unless they have a medical exemption from their doctor. Boosters encouraged. Reliable vehicle & valid driver's license are a must for this position. Rate: $40-$45 Per hour Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring that home care clients served by Rely receive the highest quality care by ongoing assessment of the client, supervising the implementation of the physician's plan of treatment, developing a plan of care and evaluating client needs and employee performance. Additional duties may include med setups for clients, and performing insurance assessments. Qualifications Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State, with at least one year experience as a professional nurse (recent experience preferred). Six months of supervisory experience or one year of experience in home care is preferred, but not required. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required. Knowledge of home health regulations is preferred. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule. Must meet health requirements.
