Our Nursing Department at Mesa View Senior Living Campus provides a broad range of services to aid in the direct care of our Senior Living Residents. A few responsibilities of the RN or LVN include:
- The Charge Nurse on each shift shall be the licensed nurse who assumes responsibility for and supervises all activities to be completed on their shift.
- He/She is accountable to and works under his/her immediate supervisor, the Director of Nurses.
- He/She performs selected acts in the care of the residents
- Administers selected treatments and medications prescribed by the physician or a licensed dentist.
Education/ Certifications/ Licenses Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved school of Vocational or Professional Nursing.
- Current Texas Nurse License to practice in the state of employment
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) verification course, as specified in policy
- Previous experience in Direct Patient Care required.
- The employee must possess basic working knowledge of computers, and be able to enter necessary data into a computer.
