Our Nursing Department at Mesa View Senior Living Campus provides a broad range of services to aid in the direct care of our Senior Living Residents. A few responsibilities of the RN or LVN include:


  • The Charge Nurse on each shift shall be the licensed nurse who assumes responsibility for and supervises all activities to be completed on their shift.
  • He/She is accountable to and works under his/her immediate supervisor, the Director of Nurses.
  • He/She performs selected acts in the care of the residents
  • Administers selected treatments and medications prescribed by the physician or a licensed dentist.


Education/ Certifications/ Licenses Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved school of Vocational or Professional Nursing.
  • Current Texas Nurse License to practice in the state of employment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) verification course, as specified in policy


Minimum Experience, Abilities Required and Special Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Direct Patient Care required.
  • The employee must possess basic working knowledge of computers, and be able to enter necessary data into a computer.
