We are seeking an experienced RN for inpatient oncology. Lunder 9 is a 32-bed special oncology unit with dedicated oncology beds. All patient rooms are private. The population consists of acute medical oncology patients with solid tumor cancers: lymphoma and/or multiple myeloma. Patients admitted to this oncology unit require complex oncology care which may include complex chemotherapy regimens, biotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation therapy, proton therapy and palliative care. The complexity of care provided to our patients consists of management of symptoms, side effects or complications related to their disease or treatment. Pain management, emotional and spiritual support, patient and family education, palliative care and end of life care are also part of the care we provide. The patient care delivery model is a patient-focused model, supported by primary nursing. Patient-focused care is high quality, comprehensive, accessible, supportive and personalized.
This position is a day/night rotation including weekends and holidays. 36 or 39 standard hours.
Minimum of one year RN experience required. BSN strongly preferred. MA RN license required.
