What You’ll Do

You will work as a part of the Operations team to support resourcing and operations across all of our client delivery teams. This entails:

  • Resourcing and Project Management
    • Leading conversations daily with C Spacers of all levels and skillsets about their individual staffing, career aspirations, skillsets, new opportunities, struggles, feedback, etc.
    • Solving staffing puzzles based on what’s best for each client, team, and individual, looking at staffing gaps, implications shifts will have on all teams, etc.
    • Partnering with our New Business team on incoming opportunities and building the best team possible to deliver the work
    • Managing project timelines and (work) scope to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget
    • Supporting teams with event production and logistics (e.g., liaising with vendors, , coordinating supplies, assisting with event recruitment, etc.)
  • System and process creation and maintenance
    • Maintaining trackers related to hours allocations, budgeting, status, margin, etc. with utmost attention to detail
    • Thinking through, experimenting with and implementing ways to improve existing systems and processes or creating new systems and processes
    • Building a wide understanding of the various C Space departments, people, work product and ways of working
    • Supporting management of project financials

You play a critical role in our employees’ engagement and happiness at C Space, enabling an empowered and agile workforce by inspiring people to have an ambitious agenda for themselves and a desire to drive impact for our clients.

You identify problems (both surface and root causes) and opportunities for innovation. You use people data (resourcing, utilization, timesheets, etc.) in combination with business data (project pricing, labor rates, margin, freelancer spend, etc.) to ensure talent alignment, proactively solve for issues on teams, and innovate our resourcing model.

You can absorb data, interpret client needs, estimate the changing landscape of employees via attrition and promotion, as well as the mix of work in the pipeline to facilitate filling open positions and determining level and requirements.

You will serve as a point of integration for Account Leads, HR, Finance, Operations, and Talent Acquisition.

    • Ability to shift writing voice – everything from casual, to client-facing, to company-wide
  • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution
    • Prowess in prioritizing competing needs from different leaders and employees across the business. An understanding of what needs to be elevated vs. what can be deprioritized, what tradeoffs are being made and how to communicate this.
    • Energized by problem-solving and excited to tackle anything small or large
    • Comfortable dealing with people in some of their toughest moments
    • Ability to negotiate with people at all levels of the organization and help them find compromises with one another
  • Extreme Attention to Detail and Organization
    • Well-versed in pulling together comprehensive and actionable notes from live conversations
    • Comfort using multiple notetaking and tracking systems
    • Passion and rigor for maintaining accurate data and information
  • Technology/System Experience
    • Intermediate or Expert proficiency in Office 365, in particular Excel, OneNote, MS Teams and Outlook
    • Experience with project management and/or resource management software
    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
    • Openness to exploring, trialing and spreading adoption of new technologies and systems
  • Ideally, previous experience (3-5 years) in project management or program management in a professional services environment or traffic coordinator in an agency environment – Desired, but not required.

Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000.
