Title: Resident Services Attendant

Reports to: Resident Services Coordinator/Mayor

Job Purpose:
Come join our friendly team in this customer-facing position! Work between 16 - 28 hours per week at our front desk, providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting the public as they call or enter the Broadview Heights Recreation Center. Complete visitor logs, record cash and credit card payments, and provide information and directions as needed. This job has a lot of variety - you could help out with with special events and evening concerts at our outdoor amphitheater in the summer! This is a year-round part time position and will be assigned to work evening and weekend shifts. We offer flexible scheduling, free fitness center membership, and the opportunity to earn paid time off and holiday pay (after 6 months, provided you work at least 16 hours/week).

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Answers telephone calls, takes messages and/or directs calls as required.
 Greets visitors to the Recreation Center and assures that visitor logs are completed and directions provided as needed.
 Provides access to the Recreation Center and provides information on special events, memberships and program registration.
 Sells memberships, collects program registration fees and miscellaneous merchandise; collect money and checks and maintains daily cash drawer.
 Assists with special events as directed, which may include working outside in the evenings for concerts and Home Days.
 Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent.
 Strong customer service skills.
 Good verbal communication skills both in person and on the telephone.
 Familiarity with computer usage, including Excel and Word; ability to learn and use RecTrac software.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
