World Vision Internships provide a three-month opportunity for exceptional students and recent graduates ready to explore a career in the international relief and development sector. BEFORE APPLYING, please make sure you meet the following requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: May 22 to August 18, 2023.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid U.S Social Security Number.
  • Be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
  • Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).
  • Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
  • Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
DETAILS
  • Stipend: All US-based interns are paid a monthly stipend of $650
  • Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week)
  • Internship Location: Remote within the US (see eligible states above).
  • Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
The Talent Acquisition (TA) department provides global staffing services to World Vision national offices and Global Centre functions. This includes forecasting, sourcing, screening, assessment, and placement of Global Centre and international assignees. Our mission is to link high-performing talent with fulfilling opportunities to serve the world’s most vulnerable children.
The intern’s responsibilities will include:
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team to identify future staffing needs, as well as build pipelines for specific roles.
  • Support our branding and marketing efforts to attract the best candidates to World Vision.
  • Help with the promotion of internal campaigns that make current employees aware of professional growth opportunities.
  • Look for opportunities to streamline efforts and improve processes.
  • Assist with planning and execution of events for our intern program.
  • Conduct industry research or understand the best practices from other regions to provide market insights to the hiring team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
