Job description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a passionate RN to join our Endoscopy Team!


Directs and/or provides professional perioperative nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. Responsible for delivering patient care services before, during and after surgery. Prepare patients for procedures, assisting the surgeon, sterilizing instruments and equipment, and making sure there are enough disposables in the operating room/procedure room.


Qualifications and Preferred Experience:


  • Current licensure in the State of Idaho
  • Must have active BLS and achieve ACLS certification within six months of employment.
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement.
  • Previous experience is preferred.
  • Is aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them.
