Overview:

Imaging Department. We are looking for a
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer who would work under the supervision of the Imagining Department Medical Director to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well-being of the patient and family.
This position requires a professional, customer-service orientated individual with strong interpersonal skills of the purpose of delivering care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
Independent decision making is expected in the execution of all duties. May be assigned to be in charge of a modality and able to delegate patient care assignments and duties based on the ability of co-workers. Must strive to maintain the professional standards of Diagnostic Medical Sonography which include utilizing clinical skills and critical thinking to assess, plan, provide, delegate, supervise, manage and evaluate patient care.
As of 1/21/22, NMC Health requires all employees to be vaccinated unless a medical or religious exemption is needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with additional training or education
- Completion of an approved program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Either a Bachelor's degree or a Assoicate's degree in any Allied Health Field
- Licensed by The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Minimum of 1-2 years if experience preferred, but not required
