THE POSITION

This position serves as the Enterprise Recruiter for Schuylkill, Carbon, Lebanon, Monroe, and Pike Counites. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a recruiter for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill and critical vacancies, developing future talent pipelines, building relationships with high schools, colleges, universities, and community partners while representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition to this, you will facilitate the planning and conduct of hiring events at commonwealth facilities, attend high school, college, and community recruitment events, develop recruitment plans for your assigned district, and build strong relationships with local state agency hiring managers and other Human Resource professionals.

We are seeking a creative, energetic professional who is willing to learn! Our ideal candidate will have a stellar track record of showing initiative, learning quickly, and conducting presentations!

This position will we assigned to the Enterprise Recruitment District 2 and will cover the following counties: Schuylkill, Carbon, Lebanon, Monroe, and Pike. On occasion you will be expected to travel outside of your region based on operation needs. Travel is a required part of this position, and that will include occasional overnights.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:


  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Home Headquartered: This position is a home headquartered position. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
  • An Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) may be offered.
  • This position will require travel with occasional overnights.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Analyst 1 including six months in the area of the parenthetical; or
  • One year of experience in the performance of professional human resource duties, including six months of experience in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within District 2 (Schuylkill, Carbon, Lebanon, Monroe, and Pike).
  • This position will require travel with occasional overnights.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • The selected candidate for this position must undergo a fingerprint-based records check to be in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
