Job Summary:

The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide directions and information to clients, visitors, and other guest of the firm.

Job Type:Full-time, 8-hour shift

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greets visitors; determines the purpose of each visit and directs or escorts to appropriate location.
  • Answers, screen and directs phone calls; take messages and schedules appointments.
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages and courier delivers and delivers or distributes items.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

  • High school or equivalent (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office experience 2 years (required)
  • Personal Injury experience (preferred)
  • Customer service experience 2 years (preferred)
  • TrialWorks or Case Management System (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
