About the Position

Manage the movement of raw materials into the manufacturing facility. Improve & enhance known planning solutions to meet prod requirements. Drive & coach others in the use of known planning solutions to meet prod requirements. Possess a good understanding of available technology & standards. consults with experts as needed on appropriate level for application. Managing by influence the workforce recycling goods into plant & ensure accuracy & quality. Collect data & inputs to be used in making quality decisions. Responsibilities

• Manage & optimize the plant raw material supply chain & inventory: Physical Inventory, IQR, Accurate Forecasts, & Shipment/Inventory Tracking.

• Manage VMI: Inputs data based upon inventory results, validates min/max needs, monitor all inbound raw materials to the Plant, 3rd Party Mixers & local reweigh site

• Drive continuous improvement throughout the plant raw material organization.

• Develop systems that assure the sustainability of process improvements. Implement plans to support team development addressing quality, waste, delivery & cost.

• Provide safe, ergonomically health environment & processes which comply with government & company standards.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree

• Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, engineering, computer science or related field desired

• 3+ years' experience in supply chain/raw materials field.

• Experience in a manufacturing company in a supply chain function or operations management role with demonstrated capability of leading or participating in high performance learning organizations/teams.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication, problem solving & computer skills (Microsoft Office).

• Strong quantitative & analytical skills.

• Understand inventory strategy, product supply, deployment & production planning.

• Strong understanding of business issues, metrics & customer value.

• Understands the Goodyear global culture & leverages that understanding to achieve impactful results.
