We are seeking a highly motivated Temporary-R&D Associate to join the Analytical Team in Regeneron's Formulation Development Group in Tarrytown, NY location. In this role, you will support and contribute to the development, optimization and qualification of analytical methods used in the IND enabling stability and formulation development studies for monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins (e.g. mini-traps, etc.), and conjugated antibodies (ADC).

A Typical Day Might Look Like:

  • Develops and qualifies analytical methods to support formulation development, process development, and stability testing for early and late stages programs. Support preparation of critical analytical technical documents, including analytical method procedures (SOPs) and method transfer documents.
  • Maintains full working knowledge of analytical techniques and instruments and applies appropriately to projects. Evaluate, interpret and present data at team meetings. Collaborate with other team members in Formulation Development Group and other functional groups at Regeneron in supporting the program development.
  • Applies statistical knowledge and software packages (JMP or equivalent) for method development and data analysis. Maintain accurate and complete laboratory record. Participate in general lab instrument maintenance and perform trouble shooting independently.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in analytical method development and trouble shooting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting to craft experiments, as well as interpret, document and communicate results.
  • Knowledge of monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, bioconjugates, and fusion proteins.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, creative and diverse team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and support accelerated timelines.

To be considered for this role, you must a BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field with 0-4+ years of research experience, or MS degree in the above mentioned fields with 0-2+ years of hands-on research experience. Experience with analytical methods used in biopharmaceutical development, including capillary and microchip electrophoresis, HPLC/UPLC and/or biophysical characterization (fluorescence, DLS, HIAC) for characterization.
