Iscani Industries, LLC is currently looking for an Experienced Construction Quality Control Manager for Military, Civil, and Industrial projects. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing the on-site quality control, safety, environmental protection, and sustainability requirements, including internal / external communication for multiple new construction and renovation projects within our military and civil construction portfolio. This position will oversee assigned design-build and design-bid-build projects in the mid-South region. Candidate must have proven past performance, have high command of the quality control management process, and be self-directed. Military experience is recommended.

The position is headquartered at our Midwest City, Oklahoma field operations office with full-time assignments at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, OK.

Iscani Industries is a general contracting firm specializing in design-build and design-bid-build projects in support of military, civil works, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

· Lead in implementing the three phases of Quality Control (QC): Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up.

· Control the daily technical and administrative functions of the USACE RMS system.

· Coordinate third-party testing agents as outlined in the quality control plan.

· Prepare, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan for each job.

· Prepare and complete daily Quality Control reports.

· Ensure all Quality Control activities occur in a timely fashion in accordance with the project schedule.

· Manage project close-out/Red Zone to ensure completion within contract period of performance.

· Ability to coordinate, document, and enforce quality control, safety and health, environmental protection, and sustainability on various construction site projects.

· Stay abreast of technological, construction and industry trends.

· Assure adherence to all applicable company policies and procedures while also complying with federal, state, and local laws.

· Treat all clients, company personnel, project team members and others with integrity, honesty, and respect.

Requirements

· Certificate in the successful completion of the USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) course.

· OSHA 30 HR and/or EM385 Certificate.

· 5-8 years of combined construction experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager or Project Engineer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a CQCM role.

· Experience in large-scale construction management or construction trade with increasing levels of responsibility.

· Experience using the USACE Resident Management System (RMS).

· Exhibits high-level ability to read and understand construction documents, including technical specifications, construction drawings, design analysis, geotechnical reports, material submittals, O&M manuals, test reports, ASIs, etc.

· Ability to develop project-specific Accident Prevention Plans, Quality Control Plans, Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA), and manage MSDS documentation.

· Ability to lead preparatory meetings, initial inspections, pre-final, and final inspections, including follow-up remedial actions.

· Strong analytical acumen and attention to detail.

· Organized and self-motivated.

· Proven experience maintaining client and vendors relationships.

· Excellent leadership abilities, problem solving techniques and conflict resolution skills.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Experience using estimating, scheduling, and project management software.

· Physically able to navigate a construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders.

Additional Consideration Given

· Graduate of a four-year United States (US) accredited college or university, or equivalent, with a degree in one of the following: engineering, architecture, construction management, engineering technology, building construction, or building science.

· Experience with the Design-Build process.

·_ Federal Government project experience, to include:_

o USACE or NAVFAC Project Experience – Military Construction

o USACE Project Experience – Civil Works

o Federal Project Design-Build Project Experience

· Industrial and manufacturing project experience.

· Written letters of commendation, outstanding project performance evaluations, and references.

Professional Certifications

Quality Control Managers must complete and maintain the following (company-paid) professional certifications within 30 months from date of hire as a condition of continued employment:

· First Aid / CPR and Blood-Borne Pathogens

· 40-Hour EM 385-1-1 Hazard Recognition Course

· ANSI/ASSE Competent Person Z359: Fall Protection

· OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety + OSHA 8-Hour HAZWOPER

· OSHA Confined Space Entry Training for Construction Certificate

· Scaffolding Training for the Competent Person

· Fall Protection for the Competent Person

· Ladder Safety for the Competent Person

· Personal Protective Equipment for the Competent Person

· Trenching & Excavation for the Competent Person

· Aerial Work Platform Competent Person

· Procore Project Manager at GC (Project Management: Quality & Safety) Certification

Pay: $62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
