Job Description:
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Operate all TurboFab vehicles and Industrial Trucks, on or off company premises to move, load and/or unload material, equipment, etc. This includes but is not limited to, the company truck, large capacity forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes, etc. Must also have the ability to cross check and verify accuracy of physical materials to purchase orders and packing lists.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Position checks vehicles for proper and safe loading operations. Ensures correct loading and unloading procedures of assigned vehicle. Ensures safe rigging occurs and plans yard lifts and executes load-outs. Ensures shipping and receiving guidelines are followed with great accuracy.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Comply with all of TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines.
2. Drive pickups, truck cranes, and other fuel or electric powered vehicles on company premises, as required.
3. Must meet and comply with all production schedules without compromising quality.
4. Must keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures.
5. Works from authorized documents and other written and oral instructions to complete assigned tasks.
6. Ensures documentation and materials are complete and accurate.
7. Loads and unloads applicable vehicles, as needed.
8. Performs emergency minor maintenance to vehicle as may be necessary.
9. May train other less experienced operators, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experienced Expeditor or Warehouse workers-5+ years of experience
Experience with material moving equipment (forklift, hoist, crane etc)
Proficient computer skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read drawings

Great Attention to Detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must be able to get along well with others
Must have the necessary licenses and/or permit as required
Minimum Education Level: GED or Equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 to 8
