Program Assistant for Benedictine Friends works in collaboration with the Mission Integration Office and a Campus Ministry to coordinate the Benedictine Friends Across Campus program.

Job Duties
  • Collaborate with the Campus Ministry and Mission Integration Office to accomplish the following: Recruit student participants, Maintain program database of Sisters and students, Oral and written communication with student participants, Plan and implement large group events for Benedictine Friends, and Facilitate evaluation process and revise program as appropriate.
  • Provide support for Campus Ministry and the office of Mission Integration as needed including event advertising and support and assisting professional staff with projects as needed.
  • Be dynamically involved in leadership and spiritual formation and actively participate in Campus Ministry student leader trainings and meetings.
  • Meet regularly with a member of Campus Ministry staff for spiritual development, articulation of progress towards meeting goals, and dialogue about areas of concern.
  • Show hospitality, responsibility, professionalism, creativity, enthusiasm and integrity in their work.
  • Be willing to collaborate with the leaders of the Campus Ministry Center.
  • Represent the Campus Ministry Center and all its programming in a positive way to students, parents, staff and faculty, and community members.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a CSS Student
  • Have an interest and passion for the work of the Campus Ministry Center
  • Desire to grow in their own spirituality and witness their faith to others
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Be able to effectively facilitate small and large group activities
  • Be a self-motivated and reliable leader
  • Be supportive of the ecumencial and interfaith nature of campus ministry

Preferred Qualifications
  • Have prior participation in Campus Ministry programming
