Overview:
This job description has been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication, clear expectations and understanding of the role of Production Team Member. All responsibilities have not been included, Supervisors, may from time to time ask Production Team Member to perform other related duties not specifically included in this description. This description will be reviewed annually by the Department Manager and revised if needed to meet the business needs of ABC Automotive Systems, Inc.
Responsibilities:
******2nd Shift***************
- Team Members have an overall responsibility for pulling plastic parts off a press, trimming excess flash off parts, packing parts and assembling plastic components while assuring that all parts meet quality specifications.
- Immediately inform the Group/Team Leader or Production Manager of any visual and/or physical defects in production pieces that appear at your workstation.
- When needed trim pieces without creating any defects. Perform additional trimming of flash to enable a part to meet customer standard and requirements. Ensuring proper PPE is worn.
- Record information on scrap sheets and/or downtime sheets regarding scrap parts and information about machine, equipment, and fixture.
- Assembly parts according to standardized work instructions.
Assist with training new employees to work standards and Quality Objectives utilizing team work and positive attitude. - Contribute to a work environment free from harassment, where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are standard
- Adhere to the Quality Policy and Environmental Policy as they relate to ISO 9001: 2015 (QMS) / ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) / IATF 16949 2016 (AQMS)
- Previous manufacturing preferred
