Job description

Production general labor associates ensure that activities are completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Expected to be on time, dressed out and ready to work at scheduled start time.

· Engage in all production floor activities to include

o Labeling buckets/tubs

o Filling tubs

o Sculpting/weighing

o Putting toppers on product

o Cup sorting

o Finished product runner

o Filler operation

o Loading packaging into fillers

o Keeping production area clean and inspection ready

o Keep floors dry

o Assist in setting up equipment for production, including darifill, fruit feeder, variegate feeder etc.

o Assist sanitation when needed

o Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices

· Engage in packing crew activities to include

o Loading cases into tape machine/coder

o Hand casing finished product into proper packaging

o Stocking packing room with packaging as needed

o Maintain proper packaging documentation for quality checks

o Running packing tape machine and coders

o Managing nitrogen tunnel set-up, start-up, and shutdown

o Maintain clean packing areas

· Ensure all paperwork is filled out properly and timely

· Ensure all quality checks are completed at correct intervals

· Empty production trash and recycle from production during shift and at end of shift

· Other duties/task as assigned

Qualifications

· Proficient in English

· Basic reading and math skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to multi-task

· Able to work any shift as needed

· Able to work overtime as needed

· Able to move/lift up to 55 to 60 lbs. unassisted

· Able to spend the required amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing

Education Requirements

· High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
