Position Type: Full-time, Exempt (Onsite)


Compensation:

The compensation for this full-time position in the US is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 + discretionary bonus. The range may vary based on factors such as location, job-related skills, experience, and education. Benefits are available to all full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week. Please note that the compensation information listed in job postings only includes the base salary, and does not include bonuses or benefits.

Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the product development, sourcing, and production functions for assigned categories. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for product development and a deep understanding of the apparel industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product development strategies that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Manage the entire product development process from concept to launch, including product design, sample development, and production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sourcing, and production, to ensure seamless execution of product development.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at a competitive price.
  • Conduct market and trend research to stay abreast of industry developments and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for product improvements.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor product performance and make adjustments as necessary to meet sales and profit goals.
  • Develop and manage product budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery of products on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development and management in the apparel industry.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, textile sourcing, and product development.
  • Familiarity with product development software such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems.
