Overview:
As a Product Lead on the Benefits, Payroll & Mobility Operations Team, this individual will be responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and ongoing configuration support of the payroll module of Workday, Chick-fil-A corporate and related entities HRIS system. This role will work closely with the HRIS, Payroll Center of Excellence, and payroll processing teams to research payroll configuration issues that arise, address configuration questions, and make updates to configuration as needed. This position will work closely with Digital Transformation and Technology, People, Legal and other departments to deliver high impact projects and enhancements.

- Serve as subject matter expert in Workday Payroll configuration, implementation, and day-to-day issue resolution
- Lead the planning, discovery, development and implementation of new functions and enhancements within the Workday platform related to Payroll, as the business need arises
- Maintain and ensure the stable ongoing operation of current system configuration of Payroll within Workday
- Lead stakeholders through existing payroll setup and/or changes by communicating complexities in a simplified manner
- Partner with Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) on integration support with other systems
- Maintain ownership, understanding, and strategic direction of the payroll module in order to help influence future policy while best supporting business goals
- Partner with the Payroll Center of Excellence to continuously review and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Connect with business users to identify and recommend system and process enhancements, leveraging system knowledge and organizational knowledge of the business
- Partner regularly with other departments to stay informed of cross-functional changes and consult on potential system impacts
- Demonstrate a positive influence on peers while supporting Financial Services goals and initiatives
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive information in strict accordance with Chick-fil-A, Inc. confidentiality and data security policies
- Experience leading HRIS system enhancements or implementations
- Ability to approach and solve complex problems through creative solutions
- Demonstrates knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in creation of shared goals, and deliver desired outcomes
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Comfortable in fast-paced, changing environments, with a willingness to adapt
- Knowledge and understanding of Chick-fil-A’s standard suite of work solutions - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Workday Payroll experience preferred
- Ability to understand technical systems and processes, with an understanding and knowledge of HR, timekeeping, benefits, and payroll
