The Role:

The Principal Engineer role is focused on designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based systems and applications. In this role, you will stabilize and scale our cloud infrastructure and define best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of experience developing and implementing high-performance cloud solutions
• Experience working with the AWS ecosystem: Simple Queue Service (SQS), Simple Notification Data Streams, EventBridge, CloudFormation, and Lambda/GraphQL
  
• Experience with performance and scalability in cloud-based environments with high-volume databases & transactions
  
• Experience with the following languages/frameworks/technologies:
  • Languages: Typescript, Go, Javascript
  • Frameworks/Environments: React, Electron, Node.js
  • Cloud skills: AWS Services/Technologies, Docker, micro-services, K8s, CI/CD frequent iterations/deployments
  • Other Skills: Kafka, RabbitMQ, high-performance API design, design patterns like BFF (Backends for Frontends)
