• Under general supervision, prepares a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, sauces, stocks, bread, and other food using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List.
• Follows Company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the work area in a clean, well-organized manner, and assists others as needed.

• Has a +1 Service Attitude and works cooperatively with all team members to provide a positive dining experience for each guest.
• Complete the opening and/or closing checklist. Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, walls, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment.
• Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
• Appreciates the diversity of our team and guests and contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times.
• promptly reports any equipment and/or food quality problems to the supervisor.
• Informs the supervisor immediately of product shortages.
• Uses Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products. Do not rely on the memory of yourself or other employees.
• Complies with all safety/security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently while protecting themself, fellow workers, and the hotel.
• Bring food to guests and clear tables when guests are finished
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

• Reports to Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
• Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.
