Pool Service Technician

Locally owned and operated Swimming Pool Maintenance, Service and Repair Company is hiring for a full time Pool Service Technician. Experience not necessary but is preferred. On the job training will be provided. This is a salaried position, with a starting pay of $700+/week depending on experience. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic and must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and able to handle a physical work load.

Responsibilities and Duties:

This position will consist of cleaning, servicing and maintaining customers' pools on a scheduled route. Prior experience is preferred. Tasks include:

• Brush walls/ steps/ sundeck/ tile/ etc.
• Skim Surface
• Empty skimmer baskets
• Vacuum/Power Vac pool
• Test water and balance pool chemistry
• Backwash filter
• General troubleshooting
• Interact with customers/ homeowners on a daily basis in a professional manner
• Communicate with management about any issues or problems with pool, equipment or property.

• Perform repetitive Kneeling, bending, and reaching motions, as well as standing for prolonged periods of time

Education:

High school or equivalent preferred but not required

Required License or Certification:

Valid Driver's License (with no serious infractions)

Job Type: Full-time:

Pay: Starting at $600+/week ($31,200+/year) depending on experience

• Monday to Friday - Full-Time, non-seasonal position
