Summary of Duties:
Directs and coordinates activities of the JWFI Davisville, WV production departments in processing materials and manufacturing products. The Davisville, WV location is an 80,000 ft² facility and an extension of JWF Industries’ 1,000,000 square feet of total metal manufacturing space across four locations in the Johnstown, PA area.
Essential Duties:
Reviews production orders or schedules to determine type, quantity, and specification of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan location operations.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Education Level: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years related manufacturing experience is required; metal manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to wet and/ or humid conditions and extreme cold or heat. The employee is at risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
