Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.



Education/Experience:

  • Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.




Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
  • Clinical Specialists require national certification in specialty area by professional organization.

Additional Information:

Full time position in busy Physical Therapy wound clinic, providing evidence-based wound care to both outpatients and inpatients at Methodist Hospital. Previous experience or exposure to wound care preferred, additional training/mentoring provided as needed. Position includes weekend rotation as well as one holiday per year.
