EquipmentShare is searching for a Photographer to help out our creative team. The position can be based out of Columbia, MO or it can be remote.

EquipmentShare seeks an enthusiastic and talented photographer to join our team full time. The ideal candidate is organized and creative and will work with our creative team to plan, capture, film, and edit stills according to the company needs. The photographer's responsibilities also include ensuring that the necessary equipment is organized and well maintained for use, the content is organized and labeled in folders, and the photos/videos adhere to the company style guide.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability and eagerness to generate photos that portray EquipmentShare in innovative, authentic, memorable, and captivating ways. This position is key to furthering the company's communication and marketing objectives. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role will be involved in a wide range of projects that strengthen and enhance our brand.

Though photography will be the primary function of this role, the ideal candidate can also capture video footage when necessary. We are seeking an enterprising professional who is up-to-date on photo/video trends in marketing, and is driven to creatively capture all that EquipmentShare offers, from employee and customer events and activities, to product marketing, to social media content. Photography and videos will be used on our websites, in print publications, in advertising, in public relations outreach, across social media platforms, in email communications, and in other media as needs arise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Shoot stills and video for the EquipmentShare website, social media platforms, print publications, email communications, public relations outreach, advertisements, special events, meetings/presentations, and other media as needs arise.
• Contribute photos as experience and expertise allow.
• Generate high-quality still images worthy of wide audiences that showcase EquipmentShare programs, people, products, events, and other offerings.
• Schedule, organize, and manage photo shoots.
• Maintain a photo shoot calendar.
• Assign intern photographers as needed to cover events and satisfy requests.
• Suggest and implement ideas for promotional shoots that will help EquipmentShare recruit and retain members.
• Work to ensure all photography created by the Communications Department meets the company's brand guidelines.
• Brainstorm and suggest ideas for adding a photo or video component to publications, stories, and other promotional efforts.
• Work with other teams to maximize photo reach, and ensure our best photos are published on our websites.
• Provide curated photo options and highlights from recent shoots and other internal channels to colleagues on a weekly basis.
• Attentively archive and organize valuable photography and video assets for reuse in future projects.
• Add and organize photos in the company's folders.
• Maintain photography and videography gear and equipment.
• All other administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Work Experience and Education Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in still photography and videography, preferably for a B2B company.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop and Lightroom
• Ability to expertly operate mid- to high-level cameras, video cameras and lighting.
• Demonstrated proficiency and passion for modern photography and videography styles..
• Enthusiasm for a variety of image styles and a commitment to quality work across genres.
• Must be dependable, respectful, self-motivated, adaptable, efficient, and personable.
• Must be comfortable working both independently and with our collaborative team of creative professionals.
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects, respond to immediate requests, and work in a high-energy, deadline-driven atmosphere.
• The first few months in this job will involve frequent travel. Travel will then become less frequent and revolve around company events. Regular hours will be Monday - Friday, approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The weekly schedule will adjust when there are after-hours and weekend shoots.
