Cordant Health Solutions has an opening for an experienced Pharmacy Systems Analyst to join our growing team in a remote, home-based role. The Systems Analyst supports enterprise software applications and custom application development initiatives through their knowledge of pharmacy systems and pharmacy operations. The Systems Analyst is responsible for working with business users and technical staff to gather business requirements and deliver for system enhancement initiatives. This professional will focus on understanding the business needs of our customers. The Systems Analyst will assist in requirements gathering and project guidance; drive the analysis, design, and development of the solution; write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to deploy the application; plans for testing to ensure recommended enhancements; plans for training and conducting Use Acceptance Testing programs. The ideal candidate will have experience as part of Cordant's pharmacy program.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
  • Provide project management leadership by working closely with Pharmacy Operations as a liaison among diverse stakeholders to gather and document business, functional and non-functional requirements via individual interviews and group sessions.
  • Become the subject matter expert on the Central Portal Drug Test Management application and provide tier 1 technical support for all users of the application, working closely with the internal development team to resolve technical issues and manage system changes
  • Become the subject matter expert on the RX30 pharmacy application and provide tier 1 technical support for all users of the application, working closely with TDS to resolve technical issues and manage system changes.
  • Develop Systems training materials, work closely with Pharmacy team to assist with the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and provide pharmacy systems training within the context of SOPS as needed.
  • Write clear, concise, and unambiguous requirements using Microsoft Word templates, including the identification of risks, assumptions, and definitions.
  • Utilize diagrams as appropriate to communicate requirements such as process flows, context diagrams, system interface diagrams, data transformation and field mapping, etc.
  • Create simple user interface designs to communicate changes to existing systems.
  • Assist in project definition and scoping activities.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing by providing guidance on creating test cases and coordinating tasks.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, required
  • Experience working as a business analyst for the development and implementation of new applications, system enhancements or system maintenance, preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare, lab, pharmaceutical, or pharmacy industries, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of business, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Knowledge of system, process, and data flow modeling
  • Knowledge of writing user stories and/or fully dressed Use Cases
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to listen and share information clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization that have varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Working knowledge of testing methodologies and prior experience working in a project leadership role, managing the testing, and training activities
