Current opening is Full-time 10a.m. - 6:30p.m.

Does include every other weekend.

The resident companion shall assist the nursing staff in carrying out designated basic nursing duties for the resident.

Duties and Responsibilities

    Sets up, serves, collects, and breaks down meal trays.
    Assists residents with their meals.
    Feeds those residents who are unable to feed themselves.
    Makes unoccupied beds.
    Cleans and organizes the residents' rooms and other areas of the nursing unit.
    Transports residents.
    Distributes water, applies arm bands, and cleans break room.
    Perform other duties as requested.

Job Qualifications

    Education and Training/Experience
      Must be at least 16 years of age.
      Customer Service: 1 year
      Verbal ability to communicate with residents
      Ability to understand instructions from the nursing staff
      Must be patient, tactful, and kind when approaching residents
