  • Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Experience developing Pega solutions that meet organizational needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and alignment to development goals and principles.
  • Estimate engineering effort, plan implementations, and rollout system changes.
  • Lead product initiatives, recommend improvements, mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Leverage industry and product technical expertise to identify project risks, and work efficiently to mitigate them.
  • Share release management duties on feature rollouts.
  • Find and help fix stability and scalability issues in a time critical Production Support environment.

*Skills:

  • Experience with Pega PRPC v7.x (preferably V7.1 or above), including Pega Certified System Architect / Certified Senior Systems Architect credentials.
  • Ability to manage the data paths and integrations between Pega Platform applications and external systems, manage rules and rulesets (including the specialization and reuse of rules), and configure application security, data access, and user profiles.
  • Experience with the following related tools and services: Java, J2EE, SOA services, Spring, Object Oriented Concepts, Data Structures, REST Services, Web technologies and internet protocols.
  • Database driven application development such as Oracle, SQL or schema design; HTML, AJAX, SOA: SOAP/RESTful Services.
  • Ability to build out infrastructure, middleware / platform components, create and execute test cases, and apply automation geared towards ensuring quality.
  • Experience in all aspects of SDLC including requirement/design reviews as well as code reviews.
  • IT Experience within a healthcare environment; demonstrated understanding of business processes as they related to healthcare call center management and related workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience or Master's degree with 7+ years of direct experience.
  • Candidate must be U.S. Citizen and be authorized to work for the Federal government.
  • Current or recent Department of Defense clearance strongly preferred.
  • Candidate must pass a background check.

Schedule:

  • Mostly Monday to Friday, some weekend activities, but flex time will be allowed to meet schedule and workload needs.

Work Location:

  • Remote, with occasional office visits in the Sacramento, CA area, for working sessions, possibly once per month. Travel and lodging paid by SDV INTERNATIONAL if approved in advance.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
