Job description

The ReGenesis Health Care Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board certified/board eligible General Pediatrician. Duties will consist of 90% of your time providing exemplary patient care to patients infants to age 18 in Spartanburg County. Further, your responsibilities will include the supervision of applicable staff including nurse specialists and other individuals who provide patient care in all patient care settings.

Excellent salary up to $200,000 based on experience with excellent full-time benefits. Sign on bonus and quarterly incentive.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You must care for all patients regardless of payor source, ethnicity, gender, or medical condition.
  • You will provide primary medical care by caring for all pediatric patients in accordance with the physician's medical specialty as assigned by ReGenesis Health Care.
  • You will develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and / or referral, including hospitalization where necessary.
  • You will stress the importance of preventive health care measures.
  • You will use all available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and radiological testing, in an appropriate and cost efficient manner.
  • You will confer with consulting physicians, nurse, patients, and patient's families concerning treatment and care of patients.
  • You will refer those cases which require specialist services, but maintains responsibility, assuring that continuity of care is provided.
  • You will participate in the development and implementation of a regularly up-dated performance improvement plan.
  • You must be willing to be the supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners as the need arises.
  • You will complete timely documentation in the EMR for each patient encounter and review patient medical records for accuracy, and completeness as outlined in policy for ensuring timely medical record documentation.
