Job responsibilities to include:
- Performs all activities necessary to process bi-weekly payroll, including maintaining related records, voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishment.
- Reviews associate changes (new hires, adjustments, terminations, and status changes).
- Processes retroactive and adjustment payments; inputs payroll deduction changes; manual check preparation as needed.
- Protects payroll records and associate information by keeping information confidential.
- Review and submit wage garnishment notifications via Paycom.
- Administer timekeeping system (i.e., approvals and sign offs for hours, schedules, Paid Time Off and adjustments) in preparation for the payroll interface.
- Helpful to be familiar with multi-state setup but not required.
- Run reports and upload timesheet data.
- Transmit payroll data and when necessary, request voids and direct deposit reversals via PAYCOM.
- Assist associates and managers in answering all payroll related questions.
- Provide customer support to communities as needed, i.e., responding to payroll and benefit inquires in a timely fashion.
- Process or respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims.
